It's over! Whew! Only 1 and 3/4 months to relax until Christmas :D
The ladybug costume is one I made for my oldest for her first halloween. There is a headband with those little boppers on it, but the paint was still drying on them.
It was gloriously warm all day too so I didn't have to worry about bundling them up very much. The ladybug outfit is from a boys size 10 sweater anyway, and my oldest is wearing a grey sweater of mine that is too small.
So far I have managed to avoid the 1/2 off candy aisle at the stores too!

Yay! It's over for this year.
Our town is pretty small, and the downtown association group has a 'Treat Trail' every year, where they close the one-way main street and all the shops hand out candy from 330 to 5pm on halloween. It makes it easy to take little ones out while it's still light.
We've done it 3 years in a row, it's tiring, but at least it's over with.
My oldest just had to be a dragonfly. My youngest is going as what she was last year... Samantha Carter. I know I'm a nerd.

Well, I did the eyes and mouth on this one.
But I promise to post some pics of this years halloween costumes. I have been making them so far for the kids. Here are last years:
She's been wearing this one for 2 years and wants to be a dragonfly this year. I already have the colored panty hose for wings. Only half done making it however.
